The challenge with creating a system that delivers consistency and standardisation across an industry, particularly a global industry like aviation, is gaining universal support and ensuring that you meet the demands of your user base.
The aviation and aerospace sector is currently experiencing an era of proactive change. The introduction of new regulations, technological advancements, global fleet growth and the availability of skilled engineering and maintenance professionals has made the need for a consistent approach to competence management all the more acute.
From day one the ELMS system has been developed as a tool for the industry, designed by the industry. To that end the founders of ELMS Aviation set about creating an industry representative Advisory Board. The group consists of representatives from customer organisations, industry consultants and subject matter specialists.
The purpose of the group is to act a sounding board, offering independent advice and feedback to ensure that the software is fit for purpose and continues to address the needs of the industry.
