Last week the team from ELMS Aviation attended London en masse for the public launch of our product at Europe’s leading MRO conference and exhibition.
The Electronic Logbook Management System, patent pending, is a first of its kind application. It has been developed by industry experts to help improve safety and performance culture within the aviation and aerospace sector, by providing a comprehensive competence and compliance management tool for managers, engineers and non-engineers.
Over the course of the 3 days at London’s ExCel we had the pleasure of discussing the ELMS software and our model of multi-dimensional competency analysis with a number of colleagues representing organisations from around the world.
After 3 years of intensive development and liaison with industry, the ELMS software is now just weeks away from deployment. Having built a wealth of support for the application from across the industry from airlines and regulators, to recruitment agencies and MROs, we are delighted to announce that our first 3 customers signed Heads of Terms agreements at the exhibition.
We were joined by Lee McConnellogue, Director FAS Ltd; Fraser Currie, CEO of Qualitair Aviation Group Ltd and Lisa Senior, Group Director of the JMC Group, all of whom signed on behalf of their respective organisations.
In addition to participating in the very productive exhibition, members of our team were able to attend a number of the insightful and engaging conference sessions. One of the observations that we were able to take away form the panel discussions was that so many of the difficulties facing the sector could be mitigated by having access to the sort task experience and competence driven data. Effective use of a software package such as ELMS has the potential to offer improvements in competence, safety culture, compliance, management control and quality.
ELMS is due to launch November 2015.
